This weeks' HYDAC TechNews presents a new Filter design from HYDAC, the HFDK4P High Pressure Duplex Filter.
When HYDAC was asked by the Automotive Industry to supply a high pressure Duplex Filter with an Automotive Specified Filter Element, HYDAC had only one choice, design and manufacture a new product.
In house engineering capabilities in Bethlehem, PA allowed HYDAC to react very quickly and come up with a solid defense against the competition.
This new Duplex Filter is competitively priced and it can be applied in numerous industrial applications. (i.e.: Ship Building, Power Gen., Machine Tool, Steel, Paper, Automotive, etc.) As well, flow rates are up to 90 gpm with a maximum pressure of 4,500psi.

This weeks' HYDAC TechNews involves the equipment OEM that produces these wood chips and mulch.
HYDAC Pressure Switches and Level Gauges were applied to the equipment to monitor machine jamming which can have a major impact on the life of the hydraulic components. The EDS 3000 was used to monitor and provide pressure feedback when wood jamming would occur. In addition, the ENS 3000 Level Switch was used in the hydraulic tank to monitor the fluid levels.

to Discontinue 2SV Valves
Hydac
announced they will be discontinuing the manufacturing
of their 2-Way Metric Solenoid Cartridge Valve, (2SV
valves), in June of 2004. They will be offering
WSM's as a direct replacement. The WSM Metric
Cartridge uses the UNF style coil currently used with
the UNF cartridges and are the same price as the discontinued
2SV valve price.
